WHAT DIFFERENTIATES IRPC
FROM OTHER PAIN MANAGEMENT CLINICS?
Chronic pain is often associated with other health conditions such as anxiety and depression, resulting in a low health-related quality of life. Living with daily pain is physically and emotionally stressful. Chronic stress is known to change the levels of stress hormones and neurochemicals found within your brain and nervous system. These can affect your mood, thinking and behavior. That’s why IRPC has combined chronic pain management and psychiatry.
IRPC is a practice of the latest pain procedures, technology and science.
All our physicians are fully trained for interventional pain procedures & mental health issues.
IRPC utilizes comprehensive and multidisciplinary
approach for treating chronic pain such as
- Minimally-invasive pain procedures/blocks under precision guided x-ray (fluoroscopy) technique.
- Encourage each patient to try life style modifications such as cessation of smoking, weight loss and regular exercise.
- Refer patients for physical, occupational and water therapies.
- Encourage each patient to try non-narcotics pain medicine first.
- Follow strict CDC guidelines for MME.
- Implemented strict Narcotics guidelines & patient monitoring policies such as narcotics agreement, random urine drugs screen, random pill counts, coordination with pharmacies etc.
- At IRPC, all patients get the same treatment regardless of their type of insurance. IRPC is one of the few pain centers which accepts Medicaid.
At IRPC
all new patients are seen by the pain physician in order to
- Identify the source or cause of pain
- Restore patient functions ASAP
- Identify appropriate treatment
- Develop maintenance or prevention plan such as Psychotherapy, Addiction & Substance Abuse Program, CCM, BHI & RPM.
- At IRPC, we believe in long-term pain relief and emotional well-being.
